About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our product development team at Oxford Instruments Asylum Research. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise and support throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept design and prototype builds through to volume production implementation and sustaining engineering for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical engineering expertise and support throughout the product lifecycle
  • Document design requirements, calculations, power budgets, validation results, and build instructions
  • Establish productive professional relationships with outside vendors, consultants, and contractors as needed
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and support complex electrical and opto-mechanical systems
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve capabilities and reliability while minimizing cost and schedule
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree/experience combination
  • 15+ years of circuit design experience with emphasis on analog circuit design
  • Experience with Altium and OrCAD schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Familiarity with high-speed, high-resolution ADC and DAC data converter design circuits
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Oxford Instruments offers a competitive salary range of $148,500 - $182,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k program, paid time off, holidays, and professional development opportunities.
