Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge radiation detectors and portable sensors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mixed-signal electrical circuits for radiation detectors and portable sensors
  • Author firmware for embedded systems
  • Lead product test programs and conduct PCB layout
  • Collaborate with sales, management, and customers to define new product requirements
  • Provide support to vendors and contractors throughout the design development and prototype procurement process
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in embedded design and new product development
  • Experience with radiation detectors desired
  • Altium schematic capture and layout experience desired
  • Ability to work independently in a small company environment

  • Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
