About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Lockheed Martin as a Software Configuration Management Engineer, supporting the Midway and Stormbreaker Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing software configuration, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and contributing to the success of our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Configuration Management: Utilize software configuration management tools (JIRA, GiT) to manage software files and track software changes.
  • Build and Documentation: Create software builds and associated documentation, track variances, and generate monthly metrics.
  • Change Management: Manage agenda and minutes for various change boards, control software/hardware changes, and interface with Hardware/Software Leads, Software Engineers, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Configuration Management and Release Engineering: Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented.
  • Productivity Tools: Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages.
  • Data Management: Perform Data Management tasks, including formatting and delivering CDRLs.
  • Data Transfer Agent (DTA): Act as a Data Transfer Agent, ensuring the secure and efficient transfer of data.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience with Software and Hardware Configuration Management, Data Management, and IT Systems/Information Assurance.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of network security, knowledge of EPDM/PDM experience, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
