The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in accounting, finance, and technical accounting. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience and advanced proficiency with Excel.

The Accounting Manager Role

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing monthly financial close activities, controls, and technical accounting. They will ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, maintain documentation for accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, general ledger, and sales taxes filing and preparation
  • Liaise between corporate accounting and production departments
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for production crews and staff
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
  • Aid in creating a multi-entity accounting pipeline
  • Oversee fixed asset and capital expenditure tracking
  • Ensure variances to planned performance are analyzed and communicated to relevant stakeholders
  • Compile monthly financial reports for the Controller
  • Maintain a robust control environment across the Controller's function
  • Ensure compliance with all tasks related to accounting standards and GAAP
  • Assist with internal and external audits

Annual Salary: $100,000 - $120,000.
