Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Management and Compliance Specialist to join our team at St. John's Community Health. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of grants management, ensuring timely compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This includes supervising Grant Administrators, managing timelines and deliverables, overseeing grant compliance, and reviewing financial grant reporting.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. About the Role

As a Grants Management and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for participating in the formation and updates of grant procedures and policies, investigating and resolving issues relating to grant management, and providing analytical guidance and training on budgets and compliance to program staff. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Providing data and input as requested for grants proposals prepared by Development Department prior to grant/contract application submission.
  2. Coordinating receipt of award and contract documentation related to grant/award budgets with Development.
  3. Maintaining a grant summary for each grant detailing grant term, amount, scope of work/goals and objectives, modification criteria, milestones alerts for Development and Finance.


Requirements and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a related field or equivalent, with 6-8 years of related experience, including finance, and 2-4 years of supervision experience. A CPA certification is preferred. The ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
