Job Summary:

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Project Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of financial, project, and management reporting data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain Initial Budget Worksheets and Plans to ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Set up new projects in the ERP system, review contracts and proposals to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of fees and expenses billed to clients, including fee forecasting and budget-to-actual comparisons.
  • Review and approve all consultant invoices, including reviews of unbilled expenses, to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
  • Assist in the production of monthly invoices to clients and assist in collections and applying cash to ensure timely payment.
  • Handle quarterly and annual closings as they relate to revenue recognition, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as needed to support the financial operations team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional services industry experience, especially in Architecture and Engineering, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with various ERP systems and strong Excel skills are required.
  • Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus.
