Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager

An accomplished and skilled professional is needed to join Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. as a Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager. The organization specializes in delivering expert engineering and surveying solutions to both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
  • Manage project teams, providing mentorship and support to engineers, designers, and technical staff.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ascertain project requirements and secure necessary approvals.
  • Conduct site evaluations and analyses to collect data for informed design choices.
  • Examine engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Track project advancement, identify potential risks, and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Support marketing initiatives to attract new clientele and nurture existing partnerships.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and ongoing enhancement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering and project oversight.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in South Dakota or eligibility to obtain within six months.
  • Proficient in engineering software, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation and municipal standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
