Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager

Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. is in search of a skilled and seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager. This position is pivotal in delivering exceptional engineering and surveying services to both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, providing direction and support to engineers, designers, and technical staff.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ascertain project requirements and secure necessary approvals.
  • Conduct field visits and evaluations to collect essential data for informed design choices.
  • Examine engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Track project advancement, identify potential risks, and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Support marketing initiatives aimed at attracting new clientele and nurturing existing partnerships.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation and ongoing improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and project management.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license in South Dakota or eligibility to obtain it within six months.
  • Expertise in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) and municipal standards.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
