About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team at The Schemmer Associates Inc. as a full-time Engineer-in-Training (E.I.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare design drawings and specifications for civil engineering projects, focusing on grading, paving, stormwater, sanitary sewer, site, and utility design.
  • Participate in preparing construction cost estimates and interacting with local review agencies for permitting.
  • Collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • E.I. certification preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering design.
  • Familiarity with zoning processes and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D desired.
