Job SummaryThe Community Manager will lead and direct all community operations, ensuring quality services and high resident satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruit, hire, onboard, manage, and provide performance feedback to employees to ensure community performance and adequate staffing.
- Motivate associates through recognition programs, training, and team building.
- Ensure BAL strategic drivers are communicated to staff and achieved.
- Maximize property performance by walking the grounds, inspecting apartments, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Tour visitors and guests, including prospects, owners, investors, and corporate guests.
- Conduct daily meetings with leasing and maintenance staff.
- Evaluate unit prices in accordance with market trends and budgeted goals.
- Obtain bids for contract services and oversee routine capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Analyze and explain financial reports.
- BA/BS in business, sales, or related field preferred but not required.
- 3+ years experience in a property management role preferred.
- Full-time position with some weekends and evenings as needed.
- Strong working knowledge of property management software and other necessary programs.
- Mature, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
