Medical Office Coordinator

As a Medical Office Coordinator at PTMD Consultants, PLLC, you will be responsible for greeting and checking in patients in a friendly and timely manner. You will also answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments. Additionally, you will maintain and update patient records in our electronic health records (EHR) system. Your duties will also include handling insurance verifications and assisting with billing inquiries. You will ensure the waiting area and front desk are clean and organized at all times. Furthermore, you will provide patients with information about our services, processes, and necessary paperwork. You will also assist with other administrative duties as needed to support the clinic team.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional education in healthcare administration is a plus. Two years of prior medical office experience is preferred. Previous experience in a medical office or receptionist role is also a plus. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills are essential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary. You must be able to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to HIPAA compliance. A positive attitude and a patient-centered approach to service and patient care are essential for success in this role.
