Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Breast Surgery team at Stamford Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process and following established standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient flow and provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families.
  • Assist with specimen collection and testing, and document pertinent information in our electronic medical record system.
  • Provide education to patients and their families, assessing their learning needs and developing effective plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Participate in performance improvement and risk management activities, contributing to a culture of excellence and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.
  • BLS certification.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
