Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking committed Emergency Medical Technicians in Washington County who are passionate about delivering outstanding and high-quality medical assistance, ranging from fundamental to advanced care, to our patients. If you are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others, this role may be an excellent fit for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Evaluate each emergency scenario and decide on the most suitable course of action in accordance with updated EMT protocols.
- Utilize your EMT skills with various medical equipment and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen delivery, and IV fluids to provide advanced medical support.
- Effectively communicate with patients and their families, providing essential information and reassurance regarding the care being provided.
- Assume a leadership role within the EMT team, managing scene and unit operations when necessary.
- Operate the ambulance during emergency calls to ensure prompt assistance.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Oregon State EMT License
- Valid State Driver's License
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
- Completion of ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 courses
- Clean driving record in accordance with company standards
- Successful completion of Physical Agility Test
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment
