- AMR Corp. is seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians in Clackamas County who are committed to providing empathetic, high-quality medical services and both basic and advanced patient care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate each emergency situation to identify the most effective response while adhering to advanced EMT protocols.
- Apply your EMT expertise using medical apparatus and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver superior medical assistance.
- Engage with patients and their families to offer reassurance and information regarding the care being administered.
- Assume the role of team leader when necessary, managing the scene and overseeing unit operations.
- Operate the ambulance during emergency calls.
- Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Oregon State EMT License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS certifications
- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications
- Driving record compliant with company standards
- Successful completion of Physical Agility Test
- Relevant work experience, preferably in healthcare
