Job Summary

This role involves working in a collaborative model with residents, fellows, attendings, and staff nurses to provide medical and nursing care to outpatient clinic patients. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for primary and urgent medical management, emergency stabilization of critically ill patients, teaching of residents and medical students, staff development and education, patient education and discharge planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care based on physical, psycho-social, educational, safety, and related criteria.
  • Maintain an attitude of inquiry towards medical practices and patient care outcomes.
  • Develop research methodology and adapt behavior to specific patient populations.
  • Education experiences to patient families, staff, other health professionals, and community.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing required.
  • Current License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner or AANPCP Certified for Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner ANCC or AANPCP Certified.
  • BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
Work Environment

The work environment requires prolonged standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity. Duties involve exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue, as well as occupational risk for communicable diseases.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
