About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Worksite Health Technician at our occupational health clinic in Harvard, IL. As a Worksite Health Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first aid care and treatment to employees following our step-by-step care protocols
  • Support employees with wellness, education, and teaching
  • Collaborate with medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, and client staff to ensure seamless care and support
  • Manage daily clinic operations, including ordering supplies and following compliance processes
  • Work closely with the employer's Safety Team and Human Resources to ensure effective communication and support
  • Document care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
  • Participate in daily operations at the on-site clinic
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor's clients and employees
Requirements
  • Valid licensure for the position in which you are applying and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong computer and other technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Ability to work independently and have good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift a 50lb emergency response bag
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant occupational health experience
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care
