- Observes and evaluates equipment to determine the appropriate repair actions.
- Executes repairs in a skilled and efficient manner to resolve identified issues.
- Conducts routine maintenance for contracted clients in accordance with company standards.
- Adheres to safety protocols and ensures proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Manages work orders with Dispatch, provides detailed service narratives for clients, and submits documentation for time and repairs in a timely and organized fashion.
- Ensures accountability for all paid time.
- Oversees inventory and supplies within the service vehicle.
- Keeps the service vehicle clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Ensures regular maintenance of the service vehicle (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations) and that necessary repairs are completed.
- Implements factory-approved modifications according to specifications.
- Responsible for maintaining personal tools essential for effective and safe job performance.
- Follows client safety and cleanliness protocols while on-site.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or as required by circumstances.
- Must obtain and retain a DOT Medical Card.

This position does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities.
Training Requirements:

- A minimum of a high school diploma/GED and/or one to three years of mechanical and electrical experience in a related field or equivalent vocational education.

- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Skilled in delivering excellent customer relations through courteous information exchange.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and build strong client relationships.

- Ability to interpret schematics and service manuals accurately.
- Competence in performing arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Ability to follow verbal and/or demonstrated instructions effectively.
- Knowledge of industry innovations and product availability to make informed recommendations.
- Capability to safely operate personal hand tools.
- Ability to utilize available support resources and recognize when to seek assistance.
- Other necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities related to assigned duties.
- Must obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.

Employees may frequently encounter fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical components, and vibrations. Occasional exposure to extreme conditions at construction sites is expected. The noise level can be high, and work may occur in outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical Requirements:
This role is physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Safety glasses and hard hats are mandatory for certain tasks.
Position Type/Work Hours:
This is a full-time role, with working hours typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be necessary based on job demands.
