Job Title: Medical Imaging Equipment Specialist


The Medical Imaging Equipment Specialist is responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of a wide range of complex medical imaging equipment. This includes radiographic rooms, C-arms, ultrasound, mammography, and supporting devices. The role requires maintaining regulatory compliance, assisting in inventory management, and mentoring other team members.

This position offers a great opportunity for a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to advance their career by learning medical imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance, performance assurance, and operational verification on imaging equipment.
  • Repair, install, and calibrate imaging systems.
  • Communicate the status of repairs and inspections with supervisors and customers.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and subcontractors to ensure proper service.
  • Continue professional development through ongoing training.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military training.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the repair, maintenance, and installation of medical equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong technical skills, including computer troubleshooting, networking, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
