The Weapons Engineering Directorate at Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking highly motivated and talented undergraduate students to join our team as interns. Job Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of weapons engineering projects
- Conduct research and analysis to support the Laboratory's mission
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and scientists to design and test weapons systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, physics, mathematics)
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Laboratory experience or experience working with complex systems
- Advanced knowledge of computer systems and software
- Ability to find unique solutions to complex issues
