Weapons Receipt Inspection Specialist

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a skilled Weapons Receipt Inspection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of weapons received at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform receipt inspections of weapons to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements
- Prepare and submit inspection reports and nonconformance reports
- Collaborate with Weapons Production Agency peer organizations on receipt inspection issues and activities
- Develop, review, and revise work instructions, procedures, and other job aids
- Mentor and train lower-level receipt inspectors
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge and experience applying quality assurance regulatory, contractual, and/or technical documents
- Working knowledge and experience with inspection principles and practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and engagement of people
- Strong interpersonal, communications, and team-building skills
- Experience with security software and ability to utilize it for preventative measures
The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
