This role is focused on business development in support of military operations and is contingent upon project award.

Responsibilities include the formulation of communication strategies, coordination with stakeholders, and execution of outreach initiatives for both internal and external audiences in alignment with military objectives. You will craft themes, messages, and talking points to elevate awareness and comprehension of military efforts across various departments and strategic objectives. Additionally, you will create tailored materials for diverse audiences, supporting staff and leadership. Collaboration within a team environment is essential for conducting media monitoring, analyzing the information landscape, and providing data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

JOURNEYMAN LEVEL: This level requires 3 to 10 years of relevant experience along with a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. A Journeyman typically operates independently across all functional responsibilities.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI required.

Physical Requirements: The position necessitates extensive use of computing devices, including PCs or laptops. Tasks may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, typing, and reading from screens. Sufficient mobility is essential, including bending, reaching, and kneeling to fulfill daily responsibilities efficiently. There may be a need for climbing and working in confined spaces. The role may also require lifting and transporting equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and moderate to long-distance walking may be necessary due to parking constraints. Occasional travel to various sites may be required.

Work Environment: Primarily an office setting, which may include cubicle arrangements (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise levels, varying lighting conditions). Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and management at all levels is crucial. The work environment is generally safe, with limited travel expectations of up to 10%.

Equipment Proficiency: Competence in operating standard office equipment such as personal computers, printers, copiers, telephones, and other necessary tools is required.

Attendance Expectations: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Regular attendance is vital to meet deadlines and participate in meetings. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary to accommodate critical mission demands.

Essential Functions: Professional conduct is expected at all times when interacting with clients, management, and colleagues. Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Appropriate grooming and attire are required for the position, ensuring no safety risks to oneself or others. Maintaining a positive work environment through professional behavior and communication is critical. Independent transportation to the office or work site is necessary, and travel to customer locations may be required. Compliance with safety regulations, including the use of seat belts while driving for work purposes, is mandatory. A drug test and background check will be conducted. The ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels is essential, along with a willingness to travel as needed.

The salary range for this position is $85,000-$97,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as work location, relevant skills, experience, and education.
