Resumen:


Supervisa directamente a todo el personal de campo y los proyectos de construcción, gestionando la resolución de problemas en el sitio y las decisiones del proyecto según sea necesario.

Colabora en la gestión de proyectos según se requiera. Coordina las actividades de diversos oficios, profesionales y trabajadores. Trabaja en estrecha colaboración con clientes o ingenieros que diseñaron el proyecto y funcionarios locales sobre los permisos necesarios para el mismo.

Responsabilidades:


55%: Supervisa directamente a todo el personal de campo y los proyectos de construcción, gestionando la resolución de problemas en el sitio y las decisiones del proyecto según sea necesario.

Selecciona, orienta, dirige, motiva, capacita y retiene al personal capaz de satisfacer las necesidades actuales y proyectadas de recursos humanos; realiza recomendaciones y/o decisiones sobre diversos asuntos de personal como salarios, evaluaciones de desempeño y despidos.

20%: Colabora en la gestión de proyectos según se requiera. Realiza revisiones exhaustivas previas al trabajo de todos los proyectos de construcción con los instaladores y gerentes de proyecto.


10%: Monitorea los gastos para asegurar que se mantengan dentro del presupuesto y, si no, determina si es posible compensar la diferencia.

Coordina con los Gerentes de Proyecto para gestionar los costos de materiales y mano de obra.

Colabora con la Distribución y los Gerentes de Proyecto en suministros y materiales para prevenir pérdidas y asegurar que los materiales vitales sean pedidos y entregados para cumplir con el cronograma.


10%: Contribuye al desarrollo de políticas y directrices de seguridad y supervisa y dirige la adherencia del personal de campo a los estándares de seguridad de la empresa, así como la mejora continua de los procedimientos de construcción para maximizar la eficiencia, velocidad y seguridad.

5%: Otras tareas según se asignen.

Requisitos:

Educación:
Se requiere diploma de secundaria o equivalente. Se prefieren títulos de Asociado o Licenciatura en Gestión de Construcción, Administración de Empresas, Ciencias Ambientales o campos relacionados.

Experiencia: Se requieren más de 4 años de experiencia en liderazgo en sitios de construcción.

Licencias/Certificaciones:
Certificación HAZWOPER 40, licencia de conducir, licencia estatal de instalador de UST preferida, todas requeridas al momento de la contratación.

Habilidades Técnicas:
Fuertes habilidades organizativas y de comunicación, incluyendo la capacidad de negociar. Buenas habilidades matemáticas y de registro. Capacidad para identificar partes y equipos únicos de tanques de petróleo y la industria de tanques de almacenamiento subterráneo. Capacidad para coordinar y revisar el trabajo de otros. Habilidades básicas en computación. Habilidad demostrada en planificación y gestión de proyectos.

Autonomía/Dirección:
Toma expectativas de rendimiento de líderes senior y dirige el trabajo de otros para cumplir con esas expectativas. Trabaja con poca o ninguna supervisión y se requiere demostrar una toma de decisiones de alto nivel, incluyendo decisiones de personal.

Capacidad para realizar trabajo físico pesado, ejerciendo hasta 100 libras de fuerza ocasionalmente y hasta 50 libras de fuerza con frecuencia, realizando tareas como escalar, equilibrar, agacharse, arrodillarse, encorvarse, arrastrarse, alcanzar, estar de pie, caminar, empujar, tirar, levantar, agarrar y manipular.


Herramientas y Equipos:
Capacidad para realizar trabajo manual de construcción y operación de equipos como se describe. Conocimiento y experiencia con programas informáticos (Procore, Outlook).
