Insight Global is seeking a Registered Nurse to support a government client on a long-term contract in the Tacoma area.

The ideal candidate will ensure patient care aligns with the Standards of Nursing Care and adheres to clinic policies and procedures.

This role involves caring for postpartum mothers and neonates, obtaining patient history, assessing symptoms, and recording progress.

The Nurse will assist physicians during treatments, administer medications, and manage admissions and discharges.

They will act as patient advocates, assess knowledge levels, develop instruction plans, and document patient care.

The Nurse will communicate with charge nurses and physicians, verify orders, and administer medications.

They will perform direct patient care procedures, manage complex cases, oversee blood and tissue banks, and ensure infection control protocols.

The Nurse will also provide professional oversight, collaborate with other healthcare providers, and contribute to quality assurance and research projects.

They will utilize their comprehensive knowledge of workload requirements and the capabilities of assigned staff to distribute personnel resources in response to unforeseen patient care needs.

The Nurse will actively participate in conferences, demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, react adeptly in emergency situations, assess patients for potential crises, and be knowledgeable about emergency drugs and equipment.

They will engage in discharge planning and convene multidisciplinary patient care conferences for complex medical and nursing needs.

  • Completion of a professional nursing program
  • BLS Certification
  • NRP Certification
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN License
