Maternal Child Unit Registered Nurse

The Maternal Child Unit Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and support to new mothers and their babies. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from prenatal care to postpartum support.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
• Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.
• BSN degree or higher preferred; minimum of one year of experience in maternal child nursing required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required for Labor and Delivery, NICU, and Maternal Child Unit.
• National certification in maternal child nursing preferred.
