Position Overview:

The US Oncology Network is dedicated to providing superior cancer care at a local level. With the integration of Vantage Oncology into our network, we strive to enhance the delivery of comprehensive cancer treatment through a collaborative approach among independent practitioners. Our focus is on ensuring high-quality, value-driven care that is accessible to patients in their communities.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Radiation Therapist. New graduates are encouraged to apply. ($10,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Compensation: $50-$70 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
As a Radiation Therapist, you will operate under direct supervision to administer radiation therapy to patients. Your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering and documenting radiation therapy treatments as directed by a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Maintaining accurate patient treatment records in the electronic medical system.
  • Contributing to the training of newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assisting in scheduling patient appointments and ensuring accurate billing information.
  • Preparing custom molds and cutting blocks as required.
  • Performing simple mu calculations and interpreting computerized treatment plans.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification is mandatory, along with a valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • Experience requirements vary by position level:
    • Radiation Therapist I: 0-3 years of experience.
    • Radiation Therapist II: 3-5 years of experience.
    • Senior Radiation Therapist: 5+ years of experience.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include regular sitting and use of hands for tasks. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required. Vision and hearing must be corrected to normal ranges.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, requiring frequent interaction with management, staff, and external parties.
