Position Overview:

The US Oncology Network is dedicated to providing superior cancer care through a collaborative network of independent healthcare professionals. Our mission is to deliver advanced, integrated cancer treatment while ensuring quality and value-based care in the community.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Radiation Therapist. New graduates are encouraged to apply. ($10,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Compensation: $50-$70 per hour

Role Responsibilities:
As a Radiation Therapist, you will operate under direct supervision to administer radiation therapy to patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and documenting radiation therapy treatments accurately as directed by a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Maintaining precise patient treatment records in the electronic medical system.
  • Engaging in the clinical training of newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assisting with patient scheduling and ensuring accurate billing submissions.
  • Preparing custom molds and cutting blocks as necessary.
  • Performing simple mu calculations and interpreting computerized treatment plans.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification is mandatory, along with a valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • Experience requirements vary by position level:
    • Radiation Therapist I: 0-3 years of experience.
    • Radiation Therapist II: 3-5 years of experience.
    • Senior Radiation Therapist: 5+ years of experience.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include regular sitting and the use of hands for various tasks. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds may be required. Vision and hearing must be corrected to normal ranges.

Work Environment:
This position is performed in an office setting, requiring significant interaction with management, staff, and external stakeholders.
