About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our team in the development of innovative electronic warfare systems. As a key member of our Mechanical Design Hardware Department, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and verifying digital processor and RF receiver subsystems for airborne platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for challenging thermal and high vibration environments
  • Lead programs as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program success
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8 years of experience in mechanical design and development, or 5 years with an advanced degree
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME drawing and documentation standards
  • Proficiency in solid modeling tools such as Pro/Engineer/CREO
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad-based mechanical engineering experience spanning the entire product development lifecycle
  • Experience with EW/Radar Systems or RF Products
  • Experience with Conformal Antenna Array Packaging
  • Experience with managing budget and schedule using Earned Value Management (EVM)
