Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Processing: Process payroll for all employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy in earnings, deductions, and benefits.
- Payroll Data Entry: Enter payroll data such as hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and commissions into the payroll system.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholdings, wage laws, and garnishments.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including timekeeping, deductions, and employee profiles.
- Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.
- Skills: Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Paylocity) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Solid understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
$25-$31/hour DOE. LHH Recruitment Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
