We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist II to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and assisting in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
About the Role:
As a Cardiovascular Technologist II, you will work closely with cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and radiologists to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for:
- Assisting in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Delivering professional patient care and ensuring patient safety
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Staying up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A graduate degree in Radiological Sciences, Allied Health Science, or Cardiovascular Technologist Associate degree program
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization procedures
- Knowledge of Cardiac Anatomy and EKG rhythms
- Current Medical Radiologist Technologist (MRT) certification through Texas Medical Board and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Current Registry from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS) or (RCES)
- BLS for Healthcare Workers certification
- ACLS certification required for adult patient care
- PALS and ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment for pediatric patient care
