Benchmark Spruce Point Inn is a unique resort that combines a spirited atmosphere with rich heritage, nestled between the woods and the sea. Recognized as a Conde Nast Top Resort, our historic Inn has welcomed travelers from around the globe for over a century, offering an iconic coastal Maine experience.

What you will have the opportunity to accomplish:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to serve as a Spa Receptionist. In this position, you will be responsible for enhancing the guest experience within the resort's spa, ensuring that all guests enjoy a relaxing and pleasant visit by engaging with them in a courteous and efficient manner. The Spa Receptionist will greet guests and provide an introduction to the facilities and program offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming clients as they arrive at the Spa
  • Offering tours and information regarding the Facility and its features
  • Assisting clients with the proper use of equipment
  • Helping guests with booking treatments, either via phone or in person, and accurately recording transactions
  • Reporting any incidents or injuries to the appropriate department
  • Monitoring the spa and fitness areas for cleanliness and safety, providing guidance when necessary

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Possession or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
  • An engaging and welcoming personality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for creating exceptional experiences for all guests
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to frequently bend, push/pull, and lift/carry up to 30 lbs., with occasional lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs.
  • A flexible schedule that accommodates weekends and holidays
