**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Athletic Training. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the Master of Science in Athletic Training program, as well as contributing to the development of the program's curriculum and clinical experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Teach courses in the Master of Science in Athletic Training program, including didactic and clinical components.
- Develop and implement curriculum and clinical experiences that promote student learning and professional development.
- Mentor students in and outside the classroom and clinic, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
- Contribute to the development of the program's curriculum and clinical experiences, ensuring that they are aligned with the department's mission and goals.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, including student recruitment, program assessment, and community engagement.
**Requirements**
- Doctoral degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- Athletic Training Certification and Iowa Athletic Training License.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) with the appropriate healthcare field designation.
- Strong background in athletic training, with experience in teaching and mentoring students.
