Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer for Human Development and Family Studies to join our team at the University of California-Davis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Human Development and Family Studies program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach one or more lecture, lab, and/or practicum courses in the Human Development and Family Studies Unit of the Department of Human Ecology.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and objectives.
  • Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of the Human Development and Family Studies program through service and committee work.
Requirements
  • Appropriate professional degree (minimum requirement is a Masters) in psychology, human development, or equivalent discipline.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence or potential for excellence.
  • A developing record of scholarly or professional achievement in an area of expertise related to a subject area described in this announcement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in psychology, human development, or equivalent discipline.
