Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified lecturer to teach courses in Entomology/Nematology for the Fall 2024 Quarter. The successful candidate will have a strong background in entomology or a related field and excellent teaching skills. The position is temporary and may involve teaching one or more courses in the Entomology major.

Responsibilities

The lecturer will be responsible for teaching one or more of the following courses: ENT 153L - Medical Entomology Lab - (3 Units). The lecturer may also be involved in field trips, exhibitions, special projects, and guest speakers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Entomology, Insect Biology, or equivalent discipline. The candidate should also have evidence of teaching excellence or potential for excellence and a developing record of scholarly or professional achievement in an area of expertise related to a subject area described in this announcement.
