Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify business opportunities by researching and analyzing sales prospects, establishing new accounts through cold calls and face-to-face interactions, and following up with potential customers to build and expand the sales territory.
  • Customer Service: Provide high-level customer service standards, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and increasing sales through cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales.
  • Territory Management: Establish rapport with potential customers through effective communication and product knowledge, highlighting features and benefits, quoting prices, discussing payment terms, and preparing sales order forms.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Meet personal and company goals while working efficiently with other members of the organization, submitting activity reports, weekly plans of action, and monthly territory analysis.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of sales or relevant experience, preferably in the event rental industry, DMC industry, catering sales industry, event management/production industry, hotel/resort group industry, venue space sales or management industry, or trade show sales industry.
  • Candidate Profile: Experienced customer service professional with business development experience, ability to research and qualify new opportunities, astute closing skills, strategic territory planning and management, highest standards of ethics and integrity, negotiation skills, high level of self-confidence, product knowledge, detail-oriented, presentation skills, highly energetic with motivation to sell, and high level of persuasiveness.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., hospitality, business administration, marketing). Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
