Job Summary

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas in the hotel. This includes cleaning and buffing floors, shampooing carpets and furniture, and ensuring public restrooms are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including floors, carpets, and furniture.
  • Shampoo carpets and furniture as needed.
  • Clean and maintain public restrooms.
  • Handle requests for luggage assistance and other guest services.
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, fellow associates, and self.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for applicable state and acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record).
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
