We are seeking a skilled Developer to contribute to a vibrant development and support environment, directly engaging with clients. This role is integral to our rapidly advancing technology group, dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions to our esteemed Wall Street clientele.

Our extensive portfolio of trading products, encompassing Equities, Options, Futures, FX, and more, presents a wealth of technical opportunities. Ideal candidates will possess a fervor for swiftly learning and designing innovative technologies and methodologies, integrating them into practical solutions. Team members are involved in the complete software lifecycle, from design and development to support of both new and existing software components.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are in search of Developers who can manage client interactions, investigate and resolve issues, and support development efforts within a large-scale, state-of-the-art multi-asset order management system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement client-specific features and enhancements using Java, Scala, and Linux.
  • Create software monitoring and testing solutions.
  • Provide general application support and troubleshooting through client communications.
  • Conduct issue investigations utilizing system logs, source code analysis, and database queries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of software development experience in Scala/Java.
  • Proficiency in concurrent programming.
  • Experience with the Linux/Unix command-line environment.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Prior experience in financial services is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Buy-Side Order Management experience.
