Team members are involved in the complete software lifecycle, from design and development to support of both new and existing software components.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are on the lookout for Developers who can manage client interactions, investigate and resolve issues, and contribute to support-related development within a sophisticated, large-scale multi-asset order management system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement client-specific features and enhancements using Java, Scala, and Linux.
  • Create software monitoring and testing solutions.
  • Provide general application support and troubleshooting through email and occasional phone interactions with clients.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of issues utilizing system logs, source code inspection, and database querying.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of software development experience in Scala/Java.
  • Proficiency in concurrent programming.
  • Familiarity with the Linux/Unix command-line environment.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in SQL.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Prior experience in financial services is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Buy-Side Order Management.
