MRI Technologist

As an MRI Technologist at MD Anderson Center, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This position requires a strong foundation in MRI technology, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and safe imaging results
Collaborate with radiologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic procedures
Provide patient education and support, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience
Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies
Requirements
Graduate of an approved American Medical Association (AMA) Radiologic Technology program
Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree
ARRT (MRI) certification
ACLS and PALS/PEARS certifications
Work Environment
This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interactions with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
