Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our team at ORA Orthopedics. As a Patient Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth patient flow experience from the moment patients arrive at our facilities.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and escort patients to exam rooms in a timely manner.
  • Prepare patients for physician visits by gathering and recording initial information, medical history, and vital signs.
  • Assist physicians with exams and procedures as needed.
  • Order and schedule x-rays, tests, or surgeries as required, and enter data into relevant systems.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on specific care instructions provided by physicians.
  • Maintain clean and organized exam rooms, including stocking and restocking supplies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Medical Assistant Diploma and Certification (CMA) or Illinois Nurse License (LPN) preferred.
  • At least one year of clinical experience is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic computer applications.
  • The ability to travel between ORA's Geneseo, Moline, and Silvis clinics as scheduled.
