Job Title: Construction Driver

Fisher Industries is a leading provider of aggregate processing solutions, with a rich history spanning 65 years. We are seeking a skilled Construction Driver to join our team at our Billings, MT location.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a truck to receive loads, evaluating slump, and driving to job sites. This role requires occasional deliveries out of town and involves safely maneuvering the truck on site, attaching chutes to discharge material, and cleaning the truck to minimize concrete buildup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals.
  • Adhere to all company regulations for federal and state DOT safety policies.
  • Work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and timecards.
  • Will operate any vehicle assigned.
  • Complete required pre and post trip inspections, reporting necessary maintenance.
  • Make accurate and prompt deliveries.
  • Communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate the flow of information required to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean truck appearance inside and out.
  • Climb in and out of the truck daily.
  • Become familiar with our products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a valid Commercial Driver License Class A (preferred) or Class B (minimum requirement) and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to enter and deliver material into a refinery.
  • Previous truck driving experience (concrete experience preferred, but not required).
  • Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including night, weekends, and overtime.
  • Applicant must pass pre-employment screenings, including a DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report.
