Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough quality assurance inspections for diverse construction projects, including highway, roadway, and bridge works, as well as general site activities, traffic management, drainage solutions, earthmoving, asphalt and concrete applications, reinforcement steel installation, utility adjustments, coordination efforts, and safety protocols.
Oversee field construction monitoring, tracking project timelines, costs, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Ensure meticulous document management, quality assurance records, and comprehensive project documentation are maintained.
Guarantee consistency and accuracy in the documentation across various contracts within the overall program.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in roadway inspection (earthmoving, sub-base, concrete and asphalt surfacing, drainage, lighting, guardrails, and striping for both rehabilitation and new projects) and traffic management for both daytime and nighttime operations.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
NICET Certification is preferred.
Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational abilities and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
In-depth knowledge of NJDOT road specifications.
Capability to read, write, and comprehend English for effective communication in job-related contexts.
