Position Overview: We are seeking a Healthcare Support Specialist to assist our medical providers in various tasks, ensuring we meet the diverse needs of our patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing blood draws, venipuncture, and specimen collection, along with lab work completion.
  • Preparing examination rooms and escorting patients from the waiting area to their designated rooms.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess one of the following:

  • Graduation from a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or similar program.
  • Active Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant certification.
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience: Prior experience in an emergency department, urgent care, or other outpatient clinic settings is advantageous.

  • Active Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.

Certifications: Preferred certifications include those from the American Safety Health Institute or the National Safety Council.
