About the Role

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Sales Agronomist to join our client's team in Western North Dakota. As a Sales Agronomist, you will be responsible for selling agronomy products such as seed, ag chemicals, fertilizers, and soil sampling services to area ag growers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
  • Build and maintain relationships with ag growers, providing them with expert advice on crop inputs and agronomy practices
  • Conduct soil sampling and analysis to provide growers with data-driven recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and communicate this knowledge to growers and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the agronomy team to develop and implement new products and services
Requirements
  • 2 or 4-year degree in agronomy or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of agronomy and crop inputs, with a focus on Western North Dakota crops
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with growers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly
