Program Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Officer I to join our team at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of our global and US-based research initiatives, with a focus on gender equity and gender-based violence prevention and response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to field staff during trainings, pre-testing, and data collection.
- Manage and analyze data, including descriptive and qualitative analysis.
- Monitor and track implementation fidelity, adverse events, and other study-related activities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including partners and students, to advance study goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research protocols, surveys, and qualitative guides.
- Assist with grant reporting and IRB submissions.
- Coordinate and contribute to the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Support the development and implementation of training materials and dissemination activities.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, International Development, or a related field.
- Three years of related experience, with a focus on gender equity and gender-based violence research or programming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more years of experience working in study operations, with a focus on gender equity and gender-based violence research or programming.
- Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in academic or research environments, with a focus on global health and development.
- Content expertise in gender equity and gender-based violence, with a focus on research and programming.
This is a full-time position, with a salary range of $55,800 - $97,600 annually. The position requires a strong commitment to the values of the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, including a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion.
