Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Prepare patients for exams and treatments by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
    • Assist physicians with minor in-office procedures and physicals.
    • Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other medical procedures as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Complete administrative paperwork, including medical records and insurance forms.
    • Answer patient calls and respond to voicemails in a timely and professional manner.
    • Update and file medical records via electronic record keeping.
  • Office Maintenance
    • Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
    • Maintain instruments and prepare sterilization as required.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    • Demonstrate a caring attitude and provide excellent customer service.
    Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
    • Medical Assistance Certification.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (preferred).
    Preferred Qualifications
    • 1+ years of experience in office, clerical, or medical work.
    • Medical assistant, admissions representative, or clinic support experience (preferred).
    • Customer service experience.
