Overview

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support our Medical Oncology Department at our 5206 Research Drive location in San Antonio, Texas. This role will involve working with a dynamic team to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment.
  • Promote efficient patient flow and patient care, including exams and procedures.
  • Perform clinic support tasks, including miscellaneous clerical duties, answering phones, and maintaining physician schedules.
  • Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Certificate of graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants preferred.
  • Current BCLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
