About the Role

As a Family Partner, you will work closely with our team to provide support and guidance to families who are navigating the complexities of the child welfare system. You will use your lived experience as a parent or caregiver to help others, and your passion for helping others will shine through in your work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support families in navigating multiple systems of care and enable parents and caregivers to learn effective advocacy skills.
  • Work alongside clinicians, young adult peer mentors, and therapeutic support specialists to provide strength-based peer-to-peer education, coaching, role modeling, guidance, and support services.
  • Utilize your caregiving experiences to enhance the lives of youth who are presenting with difficult and challenging behaviors, and their families.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate Degree in a human services field and 1 year of experience working with the target population; or a high school diploma/GED and 2 years of experience working with the target population.
  • MUST BE SPANISH SPEAKING for this open role.
  • Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a youth with emotional, behavioral or learning challenges and experience accessing systems for support for your child's needs.
