Job Title: Equipment Engineer - CMP Department

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to join our CMP department at Jireh Semiconductor, a leading manufacturer of semiconductor devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of our equipment, as well as developing and implementing maintenance plans to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain equipment specifications and procedures.
  • Develop and execute corrective maintenance plans for equipment.
  • Collaborate with production and process teams to ensure that work is scheduled and prioritized to support production while maintaining product quality.
  • Develop and implement training programs for technician certification on area equipment.
  • Develop and implement equipment improvement plans to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Participate in the selection and interview process for technician hiring, transfers, and cross-training.
  • Oversee equipment relocation and installations.
  • Track and report daily activities through verbal and written communication with equipment, production, and process teams.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in a fab environment on relevant semiconductor equipment.
  • BS in Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong technical capability and ability to troubleshoot system problems to board level.
  • Ability to analyze equipment schematics for advanced troubleshooting of complex problems.
  • Experience on AMAT Mirra Polishers, LAM Ontrak Scrubbers, or other CMP tool sets.
  • Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, and standard engineering practices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
