We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at the Farmers Market. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized service to customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling sales, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including the cash wrap area
- Engage with customers, offering product recommendations and promotions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive team environment
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds
- Availability to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend and two during the week
