Job Overview:Job Title and Responsibilities:

The Data Engineer, Hockey Analytics position supports hockey decision-making at all levels, combining technical expertise with passion for creating a better understanding of the game. This role demands a strong team-oriented approach, aligning with our self-starting, service-oriented culture.

  • Manage and optimize development and production infrastructure.
  • Design and implement data infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate with analysts and Hockey Operations staff to drive data-driven insights.
  • Document processes for both internal and external use.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in data engineering and analytics.
  • Familiarity with cloud-computing platforms and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
